All science fair projects must be EXPERIMENTAL and follow the Scientific Method. (Projects that present demonstrations, or how something works, are not accepted.) Look in books or online to identify areas of science that are interesting. There are three main branches of science to research- Earth Science, Life Science, and Physical Science.
When looking for a project consider this:
You need to print or copy the research and bring it to class.

- Earth Science - weather, geology, space, oceans
- Life Science - plants, animals, environment, health, plants, animals
- Physical Science- force & motion, matter, chemistry, energy, cooking, music, sports
When looking for a project consider this:
- the time it will take to complete (You only have about 7 weeks)
- the cost associated with the materials and the availability of materials
- safety
- is it interesting to you
- do you think it is innovative or original, or has it been overdone.
- make sure NO ANIMALS ARE HARMED
