Why is SCIENCE important?

An important part of learning science is doing science. Science fairs provide an opportunity for students to think like a scientist. A science fair project is a unique way for students to pose questions for which they must seek out answers to satisfy their own curiosity about the world around them. It is an opportunity for them to use the skills learned in class.

MONDAY 10/15 Turn in Problem Statement, Hypothesis and Variables (independent, dependent, constant, & control)
WEDNESDAY 10/17 Turn in Materials list, Procedure, and Bibliography
THURSDAY 10/18 - 11/4 Carry out the experiment- work on project
MONDAY 11/5 Turn in Data, & Results,
THURSDAY 11/8 Turn in Conclusion AND Application
11/8 -11/13 Work on Powerpoint and write Abstract
WEDNESDAY 11/14 Bring Completed Abstract and turn in completed project PRINTED. Does not have to be in color.
